I'm looking at putting a compensator on the F (raise) knee lever to bring the 7th string in tune. But was curious what other options folks do.
Thanks! _________________ Showpro, Nashville 1000 |

What's the rationale behind putting the compensator for the 7th string on the F raise lever, not on the A pedal? |

I think I need a compensator because, if I go for the "3 up" inversion of a major chord, using the F lever, the 6 string goes flat - especially if I use the A pedal. But I would probably link it to A, not F.
Bill, have I misunderstood you? Why would you want to even use the 7 string with the E's raised to F? _________________ Williams 700 series keyless U12,

Oops! Brain fog! I already have a compensator on the A pedal for the 7th string (that makes the 7th in perfect tune with the 5th-no pedals and in perfect tune with the 5th-with A pedal) _________________ Showpro, Nashville 1000 |
