We will be heading up to Lake Lure, NC next weekend 6/21-6/28 and was wondering if there might be any Steel or any country music playing in that area at that time.

If you arrive early on the 20th, I will be playing with the Rick Morris band in Mills River, 7 PM til 10:30 PM. Located near the Asheville airport , exit 40 off of I-26. Not exactly close to Lake Lure, but not that far away either.

Thank you George, would love to do just that but we will
be one day late, landing at the Asheville airport on the 21st. Got anything else?

Bill, sounds like the story of my live. Always a day late and a dollar short.

It would have been nice to meet you and talk steel, but it is just not in the cards this time.

I don't know of anything else in the Lake Lure area. I am from NE TN and I am only familar with the venue's and dates in NC that I do with Rick Morris, who is from Cherokee, NC.

Have a pleasant trip and enjoy the scenic beauty of NC and Lake Lure.
