My amp went bad in my rack system and I am using a Sarno Revelation for a pre amp, I have a 66 Fender Duel Showman head and a Session 400 amp. Is there going to be a problem running my rev. thru one of those amps? Thanks. Chuck

Depends what you mean by a problem. You really should bypass the preamp section on either amp when using the Rev.
That might be easier to do on the Session.

Jay, running the rev. pre amp thru another pre amp, I did not know if that would have any adverse effect on sound or equipment. How do I bypass the pre amps on the session or fender amps?? Thanks for your reply.

Old session 400's don't have a "power amp in". The Nashville, Vegas, etc. might have been the first ones with that feature in the peavey line.

However, I've ran a tube pre in front of another pre before. It's worked really well going into fenders but not so well into my session 400. Clean headroom goes way up with a preamp in front of my bandmaster fwiw. You'll only have to crack the volume open a tiny bit on the fender, and start with the master way down on the preamp.

An instrument amp can accept a line level signal, but turn the volume way down. Or turn the output of the Rev way down.
