I just received this sad news from Fred Shannon's granddaughter:
Kimberlee Shannon-Haslem wrote: |
I am sorry to say that my grandfather Fred (phred) Shannon has passed away on June 6th. I know that he really enjoyed the forum and he loved to post about his passion to play. We will be holding his memorial in Boyd Tx, this Saturday but I felt it was necessary to contact you guys. My papa didn't really have much family left so i know he looked to you guys as family so I just wanted to give you guys an update. |
Phred's last Forum post, made last July, was quite poignant:

Phred was a good citizen of this Forum. I never met him in person, but I will not forget him. He projected a real positive attitude online. _________________ -๐๐๐- (admin) - Robert P. Lee - Recordings - Breathe - D6th - Video |
