I picked up a Peavey Nashville 112 used at Guitar Center a few months ago - the salesman actually tried to discourage me from buying it because it "sounds too clean" (So I got it for a little cheaper than that sticker)

But I loved the reverb in it. I've read some posts about improving the reverb in these, so I opened it up. It has the MOD reverb tank that was recommended already installed. The sun even shines on a dog's *** some days!

Glad you got a good deal! They are well regarded by many here.

Speaking of MODs, if you have an older model and want to soup it up, you can upgrade the chips inexpensively (the newer models are now soldered in I believe).

5 socket chips on the board are very easily pulled and replaced after removing 4 bolts and sliding the chassis out. Burr Brown OPA 2604 are the chips to get from Texas Instruments or maybe forumite Ken Fox here. I did it to my NV1000 (which has the same circuit board) and it was an improvement.

(You probably have the new model and won't need to, so enjoy that sunshine!)

I would suggest that the Burr Brown OPA 2134 chips are significantly better than the 2604s----12 db less distortion and 3 db less noise.
