I just found this. It has some very beautiful playing by Mike Auldridge. I saw Mike play steel a number of times at the Birchmere with the Seldom Scene... I do miss them all.

Thanks. Great song. Beautiful pplaying by Mike, but then, as far as I'm concerned, every note he ever played was beautiful. He could do no wrong...such a nice guy. |

Don't know if I'd call this a "pretty" song The story told is of modern tragedy.
That's Mike singing the baritone part in the trio, John Starling on lead vocal/guitar and John Duffey on tenor/mandolin harmony.
Tome Gray on bass.
A legendary bluegrass vocal trio and band!
