Noble Student Model No. 625 lap steel. Don Noble & Company operated a music school/studio/store in the Chicagoland area. This instrument is obviously a rebranded Magnatone.

Totally original except for the strings, as far as I can tell. Both pots are fully functional and quiet. Nice traditional clean Hawaiian sound, and works good for blues through an overdrive pedal. I purchased this instrument from a pawn shop.

22.5" scale. String spacing about 1-7/8" at nut, 2-3/16" at bridge. Pickup measures approximately 4.5K. Guitar alone weighs just under 4 pounds.

$255.00 shipped via USPS to lower 48.

In original case.

Case has some water(?) staining on outside.

Includes original warranty card.

Kluson Deluxe strip tuners with clear acrylic buttons are stiff but work well. 37485 on metal tag matches serial number on warranty card.

Clear acrylic knobs match tuner buttons.

Small ding on MOTS between volume and tone control.

The 3-piece warranty card is still all intact.

Not completely sure about this Patrick, but Don Noble may also have been big on accordions.

You're right Jack, I have seen MANY MANY noble brand accordions in my days They are of course made in italy by reputable manufacturers then rebranded with the Noble mark... Much like this steel! Anyways, back to our regularly scheduled programming...
