I have a red Pro III here, curious to know when she was made..
SN - 12983
Says "The Pro-III Custom" on the front
Triple raise, double lower
Hex cross shafts
Narrow pedals
Teardrop (Gumby) headstocks
I figured it was early 80's. I suppose the SN could mean Dec 9, 1983. However, I thought the gumby headstocks were gone by that time...

Tyler,
Early 80's is close. By 12-83 numbers were up over 17,000. I had an 81 Pro II with the large keyheads. S/N was just under 14,000. Seymour could probably nail down a date for you that would be within a month or two.

My Super~Pro is numbered in the low 13000's and was built in early 1981, so yours might be a 1980 model.
