I bet you didn't know that Mr. Larry Scott our good friend who is in the D J Hall Of Fame was the voice on Al Bruno's recording of " West Memphis Arkansas " on Eiffert records. Larry was also a big part of us building the name of to days Academy Of Country Music. Winking Uncle Leo J Eiffert Jr & the Pigeons - Facebook.

Leo...
Wasn't it Larry Scott who, as a late night DJ on KLAC, used to say hi to all of us players over the air, since he knew that we'd all be driving home from gigs?

btw, I hear that Al's playing some again...

Hey Leo, I remember going to some club where Larry was doing his all night show and playing acoustic guitar on the air. What was the name of that place? I think Jack Reeves was the houseband and the outside of the building looked like an old western town....... I think you and I might have even picked together there......JH in Va.

Yes sir re " Skip " that was Larry Scott on KLAC 1570am the all night truckers station and he would do his show from the Dodge Saloon in Norwalk,California from time to time, not always,Jerry.I would always stop by and be on the air with him at KWKH am/fm radio Station in Louisiana on my way home to New Orleans & and he would always play my records & Fats Domino's record of " Whiskey Heaven " for me that our old buddy Cliff Crofford wrote. Leo, would you say something about the studio of John Phillips? Was there really a secret entrance to get inside? I think I read something like this.
