Wanted a steeler's choice seat with back rest. I have one now but took off the back rest, but it was mislayed on a location move. My back ache now is no joke. A surgeon told me that my Aortic Aneurysm "does" cause back pain. Perhaps do a swop with me and money to you?? or just a straight sale?? cheers...Micky.

Micky, you can purchase a back rest from Steelers Choice and install it on your seat. Dan is located in Little Rock, AR. If you need my help let me know.
Jerry

Do people really lean back on their backrests while they play? I only lean back on mine when there's a long break between songs. I have had a AAA (abdominal aortic aneurysm) for three years but haven't had any back pain (yet).

Jim..you're lucky..as you said "YET" Very Happy When I had the back on, I used to sit back on breaks...those back rest do help alot. Perhaps it's all the other meds I take that contribute to the pain...check my website. I take over 140 pills a week. They all have side effects.

I just barely hang onto the seat when I am playing and don't cover over 4" of it but between songs or even when I am "out" in a song I lean back and rest my back. It is nice to have the backrest for that reason.
