Just wanted to highlight a great gig last night in Englishtown at the NHRA Summer Nationals.

Bob was playing his left handed Williams, no, the picture is not backwards, at the finish line with 'After the Reign' note the speed of the Funny Car on the Scoreboard.

Bob's playing was great and we all had a great time.

Steel and Nitro fumes, what a great combo. I will also try to post a video.

Thanks Craig, It,s always great to run into another picker at a gig. I never really know what the sound is like out front and having another steel player out there giving me an honest critique is very helpful.
The Summer Nationals is my favorite gig of the year and because I set up stage left I always have the best seat in the house at the VIP tower at the finish line.
We're also very good friends with the owner of the track (who is a steel enthusiast ) so complimentary tickets to next years race is pretty much a sure thing to any local steel players who may want to go. That one's for you Craig and Jon too.

Bob, It was great seeing you, drag racing and steel guitars, two of my favorite things.

If you look at the photo, the black blurb to the right of you is Chad Head going 310 mph, pretty cool. You guys sounded great and Michael Napp is a huge fan of you guys. See you again soon somewhere in the swamps of jersey.
