Fender Telecaster 2004 "Custom" Neck
Neck is straight, truss rod works, medium frets have
been installed but not dressed.
Has date stamp on heel, Decal on headstock looks real, but, as you know,
there are a lot of "Fake Fender" parts out there, see the pictures.
When I was getting ready to shoot this,
I saw that the tuning machines were off a bit, so I removed
them, and saw that the last person who did this put glue and
sections of clipped off guitar strings between the wood and the
bushings to insure a "perfect fit". New experience for me, seeing this...
At any rate, I've scraped off the glue, etc., and reinstalled them, and
they seem o.k., (head pictures were taken before I did this) but they're
most likely clones of some sort. Everything else looks good.
All the above is the reason that this is only $155. I'm assuming
that someone will be able to tell from the pictures, or come over and
take a look at this, to decide if they want it, or can be certain that it
is as labeled on the headstock. If it is, it's a bargain, if not, it's still
a good neck in waiting. If you're not
local, I'll assume $20 for shipping, and
refund by money order/paypal if it's less.
If you want extra pictures, please ask, and I'll try to take them. I'll also measure the thickness of the neck at any
point if that helps.
Thanks again,
Steve

I've never seen Gibson Speed Barrel knobs on an amp, like you have on that Fender Princeton Amp. I have'em on my old Les Paul, and I like'em. Those are great amps, and they sound fantastic. Good Luck, on sellin' your neck. |

Left over from the Danny Gatton
auction...I have a bunch of these.
Someday, the police will discover
my remains, and they'll wind up with everything else at a county auction with nothing indicating where they came from.
That'll be what I get for not labeling all
this stuff...Thanks for the "good luck" with
the neck!
