Hello Mike;
Yes they could be JBL's.
I know I have seen some orange frame JBL's in Fender amps.
Can you post some pictures of them here & some of us can tell you for sure?

Mike,
Many Fender speakers are orange regardless of the manufacturer, but the JBL speakers are clearly identified.
Hope this is helpful.
Sincerely,

So, I guess my EV-SRO's are only the best in our galaxy? Well, that's good enough for me! (I don't play outside the milky way very often. ) |

I wouldn't trade the 3 I have, for any other speaker. They're clean as a whistle, and I like that. |

My 70 or 71 Twin had JBL D-120 and they were gray.
And Donny, country music is real popular outside of our galaxy. Lots of gigs. I play out there as much as possible. There are express spaceships that can get you there in a bout an hour (shorter than the drive to many gigs on earth). Here is a pic of me boarding one of these spaceships ![](http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-alien009.gif) _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . Hey Mike...never say never!! it's all down to practice. I saw your profile as an ex coal miner. Be carefull if you're working out with your steel and using your TWIN. I bet your back has had it's share of acheing from your last job

Mike....I'm in the same boat as you so to say. Read my website. I just can't do the road work like I used to. I did a good Jam session in the next County last sunday...I enjoyed myself, but it's taken me 3 days to get over the aches and pains..loading the car and driving. Strokes you had are definitely not good news, so take it easy Mike. Take care
