I bought one of the Boss 3 place plastic stomp box boards. The stomp boxes are too close together to unplug the cables without pulling the pedal up out of it's holder. Is it ok to remove the batteries and maybe put a little tape over the battery clips and run on just the power supply thereby not having to unplug the cable after every use? Will they work without the battery in place and will leaving them plugged in harm them in any way? |

Are you using 3inch patch cables with the right angle plugs?
You do not have to insert batteries or cover the connector. Just plug in the power supply and you are set.

Actually, I tried the right angle cords that came with the board, but I also eyeballed the George L right angle plugs and I don't think you can plug and unplug either with the pedal engaged in the pocket. I figured that plugging in the power supply daisy chain disengaged the batteries. I would rather not have the batteries in there thereby lessening the chance of them leaking over time. |

Hi Danny, You can most definitly do it your way, take batteries out and close em up it wont hurt a thing, when your using it at home just be sure to unplug the transformer when your done . Just so you dont burn it up.
Daisey Chaining them is the way to go for sure. _________________ SO MANY LURES, SO LITTLE TIME.... |
