Just downloaded the update, and the custom temps is back. Here's instructions and screenshots:
From the tuner screen, hit the i button or the "options/tools" button, and select "Temperaments" (it defaults to ET).
When you have the list of Temperaments displayed, hit your tools/options/functions button again, and the "add" button appears
Press it, and up pops a screen into which you enter the desired name and values. Click Done, and Save, and it's programmed!

Lane,
Which platform are you on (Android/iPhone)?
I haven't seen any updates and I'm on Android.
The instruction you give is how it has always worked - on SOME devices! I have in our household 5 Android devices that I have tested Cleartune on and on the 2 devices where I would really LIKE it to work it doesn't - it works on the rest of them and they are all running Android 4.1.1.
I have relayed this information several times to Bitcount and offered my services as a beta-tester and always got nice replies, but haven't been offered to betatest and haven't seen a solution yet.

I have 4.1.2
What are your less-helpful devices running? _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

Ok.
They are ALL running 4.1.1 - BOTH the helpfull and the not-so-helpfull devices - which I have also informed Bitcount about.
It's obviously a difference in the way various hardware vendor's implement the Android OS - much like the way there are variations in the versions of Linux depending on distributor. This obviously presents some major challenges to the developers and I'm not blaming them in any way. |

4.1.2 for me. No dice. Uninstalled, downloaded, reinstalled, same issues. Motorola Photon, a year old. Oh well, was nice while it worked but it hasn't worked for a long time now. Same issues with my Android tablet. _________________ Mullen RP D10, Peavey NV112, Hilton volume. Hound Dog reso. Piles of other stuff. |
