Focusrite "Virtual Reference Monitor" speaker emulator. I had used this to check mixes, after they were mixed. I upgraded my studio monitors and find I no longer need it. I've seen posts on some of the recording forums of people using this to mix. It is designed for headphones, but I have connected my studio monitors just to test and it works.

This works with both Windows and MAC PC's.

This requires a USB and S/PDIF connection to your recording system interface unit. The manual states it will work with just USB but I've never got it to work that way.

I've used this with both Sonar and ProTools MP9 recording studio programs.

Complete info is on the Focusrite site.
