Remington Steel non-pedal Steelmaster guitar. Double Eight. Bought in 1998 by my Dad but never used. Optional color finish and hard shell Greer case. Legs in the red pouch. Check the remingtonsteelguitars web site. This guitar is currently $1795. Optional color is another $300. Case is easily $240. Part of the package is a Fender Frontman Amp PR 241 at $50. Total value $2385. All for $1500 cash.
Just tested. All 16 strings make a sound though the amp. On/off switches and gain controls for each set of eight work correctly. It does need to be tuned. 
As you can see it is very clean.
Guitar and case is 46 lbs. Shipping will be expensive. UPS got it to my Dad so I assume they can get it to you. For in person delivery I will meet you up to 200 miles from the High Desert in CA. Will also go to Vegas.

That's a stunningly beautiful instrument. Is it Sonic Blue? Daphne Blue?
Someone's really gonna get a nice one here. Sure wish I had a pile of extra $$$ stashed under the mattress, but, alas...
What is the "High Desert?" I lived in Ridgecrest as a kid. Mom couldn't hack it. Dad decided to move back to the tundra with the rest of us, rather than get a divorce. I would much rather have stayed there, riding my bike year-round, avoiding sidewinders, chasing praying mantises and horny toads, etc. Had no choice in the matter, unfortunately. |

Jack,
Minnesota, huh? My Dad was in St. Paul until he moved in with me. He lived there when he bought the guitar.
Not sure why he bought it. We had a Hammond C3 when I was growing up. I did not get beyond a rudimentary William Tell Overture. He had to leave it in Chicago when he moved to MN. After some time he bought a big Yamaha organ. Donated it to a music school when he left. I am sure he tried the guitar but based on its condition he probably only tried once or twice |
