I ordered a couple of sets of these for my Williams and received them this weekend. I just got through putting a set on the guitar.

They sound great! Brighter than nickel, but a little more mellow than stainless.

Thanks, Lee.

I'm also carrying all of the GHS Progressive Wound gauges as singles. I don't think any other vendor does that. click here

I got to spend a little time playing my guitar this evening.

I really like these strings. They've got a little more "twang" to them than the GHS Boomers I've been using.

I'm thinking about trying a set. I've been married to the Boomers for years although I have backslid to test the Cobra-coils and Live steel strings.

I use these, custom ordered from b0b, subbing a 12 for the 11. I'm quite happy with their tone and longevity.
I use the same sets on my Carter, GFI Keyless, and Emmons PP.

Our band rehearsed for a couple of hours yesterday evening. I really, really like these strings.

I noticed that, even though the wound strings are a tad brighter sounding than nickel, they seemed to create much richer low frequency notes. I actually turned back the bass a notch on my amp.
