I grew up on" Burrito Bros" and Sneaky Pete was one of the reasons I became motivated to play steel. Sorry to say it, but this is not one of the BB's finer moments. The vocals are "pitchy" and lacking the beautiful harmonies evident on their first couple of albums.
....but all was not lost. This link led me to this beautiful rendition of "Dark End of the Street" by James Carr

It's true the Burritos were not known for their stellar live performances, nor was this recording ever meant to be scrutinized. The tunes aren't flawless, but they sound perfect to me!
