the Phoenix area has a lot of players and I know the great Danny Sneed and great Jimmy Walls and where they play. Does anyone know of others that are playing out on a regular basis and where they play. I was just at Fred Justice's house and he mentioned a man in Queen Creek that plays out on a regular basis but I dont know his name or where he plays. Any "leads" would be appreciated...I always enjoy hearing different steelers play and while I am in the area would like to take advantage of it. I am in East Mesa but willing to travel over the valley. Thanks in advance.

Larry I think the steel player your talking about is Bill Schmidt, he plays a red Mullen D-10.

Good news, in the month of January, 3 of the guitars I sold were to gentleman under the age of 25 years old.
Steel guitar is NOT DEAD!!!

Very Happy
Larry, George & Fred,
The steel player at Barleens Arizona Opry in Apache Junction is Chris Kennison. A good friend and a fine steel player. In fact,- he plays every string instrument.
Very good show and good dinners, Anyone in the area should not miss it.
Summer seasons,- they do the show in Colorado.
Very Happy Wally

Smile I will be in Phoenix on the 27th for my wife Margie's back surgery, which may keep her in the hospital for several days. I may try to find some of you, If any of you would kindly PM me with the address and times where you are playing, maybe I could come and enjoy your music.
