This has been asked before, but how hard is it to change the copedent on a Carter Starter?

From what I understand, it's impossible...
(at least in theory... I suppose a hacksaw and a welding torch might get somewhere )

I asked this same quesion a while back and also e-mailed carter. Even looked at one at a dealer in Smithville. They is welded and I don't think short of manufacturing all new rods, bell cranks etc. it can be done.

Surely, 34 years after we put a man on the moon, we can alter the copedant of a student PSG?
