I recorded this tonight. All steel tracks recorded on my Clinesmith D-10 through a Digitech RP1000 and Sano tube amp (with Altec 417). The drum and bass track were downloaded from a backing track site.

Fab again Mike! You're on a roll.
Had to pick up my lap and try to play along!
Lowering that high E to D certainly helps. _________________ Jackson Pro-IV D-10, Fender Dual-Pro 8, Epiphone Zephyr-6 |

Great, Mike!
I had no idea you are such an EXCELLENT singer. Seems you're just all-around musical, musical, musical.
Thanks for your music.

First concert I ever went to- 1975 Rick opening for Foghat on their Fool for the City tour.
All American Boy has always been in my possession, every time it wore out I bought another one- now I got it digitally!
GREAT cover Mike! |

Rick-
Johnny Winter and HWY 61- That man and that song is what got me into slide guitar, and meeting/watching Chris Ivey and Peter Grant is what get me hooked on steel.

Mike, I'm curious as to what tuning you used? |

Scott, it's a 10 string neck, so it's an extended and modified version of C6. The mod is to lower the first string E to D. The rest is extended in the bass. _________________ Links to streaming music, websites, YouTube: Links |
