It is originally a trumpet mouthpiece bag made by Protec Cases.Holds up to 4 bars and picks in the front pocket. Just a hint for those who are looking for one:

It's funny what we come up with to hold our bar and picks. I use a case that went to one of the glucose meters I have had.

Don,
The pouch you linked to on Amazon is slightly different than the one pictured in this post.

Does the Amazon version zip up all around? It looks like a fold over flap with a zipper in the front accessory pocket only. Someone commented that their mouthpieces fell out due to only a folded flap.

Protec makes 2 case that are very similar. The one that just folds in half costs $16.95 (model A221). The one with the zipper closure costs $44.95 (model L221). Prices are from the Protec website.

Here's one of the zipper ones on Amazon.....

Mitch, the one I bought from Amazon does not have a zipper but has velcro and it closes up all the way across the bottom. I have 3 bars in mine and in the zipper section I have 2 small containers of Pro-piks( the little plastic cups they come in). Mine closes pretty securely and can't imagine them falling out.

What size bars are you using with them?

Do you think these pouches will fit smaller lap steel bars without moving around? 3/4" dia. x 2-3/4" long?

I am using mine for 7/8" X 3-3/8" bars. They fit snug enough that you should not have trouble with 3/4"
