how do i determine what "era" my shobud ldg was built?? is it by serial #?

my serial is #17705.

Terry, it is very hard, if not impossible to tell the age of Sho-Buds by their serial number. It is possible however to give you an era or close approx. time that it was built. Can you post pictures of it. Or tell us what the guitar body, changer, pedals, ect.. look like? Then maybe we can pinpoint an era. Duane Becker

A fairly high five-digit serial number like that usually indicates a later model, ยด80s or so. Other than that, what Duane said.
