I bought a pretty nice old steel guitar. The name on the front is Bcon Classic, Green mica on maple. 3pedals and 5 knees. The seller said it was made in NC. and the builder is now deceased. Wondering if anybody knows anything about the guitar or the builder? thanks, Butch in NC |

Lane,or anyone else that is interested, the guitar is still on Craigslist Hickory/Lenoir, NC if you search STEEL the picture will come up. All hardware and under side seems to be Emmons. 80% good 20% needs a little TLC. Not wanting to sell right now, just to tinker with. |

Hello Bill, I played in a few bands, guitar and bass, back in the '60's and '70's locally. Got out of music until about 5 years ago. Got captured by the steel guitar. I mostly just jam with a few friends, they still won't let me bring my steel!!! |

I used to live outside Black Mountain and never heard of these guitars. How about it Clyde Mattocks???
