Bobby Ingano says he plans to be there in support of the former Sons Of Hawaii member and in case someone requests his steel guitar accompaniment. This should be a night to remember, hopefully with the best of outcomes for Dennis in the short and long runs.

What sorrowful news to hear about Rev. Dennis. He is a Hawaiian treasure! He will certainly have a lot of support because of it and many kind thoughts and prayers.

For those that might like to know more about Rev. Dennis, I have included an informative website:

I would imagine that Paul Kim will be there as well, and hopefully a large contingent of steelers will too.

Don, Dennis is taking about the most positive spin on this and with cancer survival that good mental aspect seems to be at least half the battle.

That's great news, Larry, and thanx for posting that pic of him. I hope I can make it over so the pic isn't the only time I see him playing. He looks in fine shape.

During yesterday's Lei Day festivities at Kapiolani Park, Melveen Leed performed and included plenty of time for Dennis and his music, it's was emotional but welcomed and of course da tita was her typical bag of awesomeness. Had to miss most of Gregg Sardinha's set at the steel tent for it tho.
