To whom it may concern---Mr. Bob Carter has finally sent me an address, to send his money. Even though the Post Office is closed, the dropbox is still open.
I thought of Mr. Carter as my friend. There is no friendship, nor malice, either. I am paying a debt that I owed. I will have no further dealings with Mr. Carter.
I will not discuss him on this Forum again. I am glad to get this debt behind me.
I have great respect for this Forum, for its members, and for the overworked and overtried owner of this Forum, Bob Lee Quasar.

Edited to add--I just sent Bob a PM, asking him to reply, ON THE FORUM, when he gets that check. Dammit, he didn't mind posting that I owed him, hijacking a thread that was already headed South. So I'm asking him to post here, that after three days of begging, sending emails through the Forum, and PM's, too, he finally sent his mailing address. Why he waited so long to even let me know he's still alive, will always be a mystery. I want to see him man up, and acknowledge receipt of my check. |

| One more bump. I got an email from Robert Carter, saying he'd gotten his money. I'm bumping this up, so he can see it. After that, b0b, please close this thread, ASAP. And I'd like to thank all of you who sent PM's and emails of encouragement. Again, please do not post anything about this. Leave the thread alone, so Robert Carter will see it. |
