I had an SD-10 which looked very much like that. Qualifies as one I should not have let get away. Gary builds very nice instruments.

Yep that's the one I touched for sure. Seriously though, how do the strings attach to the fingers? Is a pin, slot or what?

This is true and honest! there is no better steel in this world! A little to heavy for my ol'back... but the tone, the sustain...and how you feel when you're playing! The postservice of Gary is not to beat... he stands behind his steels in his lifetime! It's tricky to tune the Ritty.... but ones you find out the right way... you never ever heard a chord shining like this! You will hear every littlelest "out of tune", every little barplace that is not clean... this is the most honest and clearest steel you ever had a hand on! Every moment you play it... it's satisfaction, tone to the bone and a dream that always come back.... when you play it again and again... I strongly live that since I own my Rittenberry!!!!

Randy, the lighting doesn't do it justice. It's actually a fade from black ends to blue in the center. It's a lacquer front apron with black mica on the top and rear apron.

I really dislike those stages that were built with a solid wall between the band and audience. I really don't know what the owners/carpenters are thinking when they do that, without asking the musicians who are going to be performing there. Sad

Nice guitar, though. Gary builds a good one.
