I have an RP155 that I use only for reverb and is set on top of my amp and I use the front effects loop. My question is, can I use longer cords from the effects loop to be able to set it on the floor so I can switch programs with my foot. My distortion unit (Damage Control Liquid Blues) all of sudden started cutting out all my highs. The reverb in my amp has a high pitched squeal, so I don't have the molex plug even plugged in. Would doing this affect the distortion patches?

I don't think you'll have any problem, Richard. As long as you're using good cables, your sound should be as good as with the short cables.

Yep you can do that. I run mine in front of the pre amp and that sounds good too. Very quiet unit as well. I get no noise at all. I use George L's cables, but, any quality cable will be just fine. I hate the Peavey reverb...it's just too noisey.
