Non-reverb model.

An overkill project of breathtakingly misdirected vanity from a year or so ago. As if I'll ever find myself in a position to need 180 watts of sonic projection for my steel playing. (As if I'll ever play outside the house...)

I took the chassis out of a damaged combo cabinet, had SGForumite Michael Brebes go through, replace any electronicalogimical thingies that didn't pass muster and bring it up to raucous and seething playability. I forgot the cabinet builder (eBay; he's somewhere in the South) I got the cabinet from, but it's a beautiful repro of a circa-64 Fender head with blond tolex and wheat grill with the anachronistic tail-less Fender logo applied. The missing eq knob in the photo has been replaced. I have a NOS footswitch for this.

This has had virtually no use since the chassis overhaul. $550--local SoCal transaction only, no trades, no shipping, even at bazooka-point or threat of free orchestra tickets to a K-pop Battle of the Bands.

I periodically have EXACTLY the gig for that amp. Now, if that band were only playing in southern California...
