Hello,
I am getting back into playing more seriously after a long break.
I have an Orange 35 with 10 inch speaker. Looking for something to gig with eventually.
I have heard good things about the Roland 212 and Peavey Nashville 400.
I have some vintage instruments like a Ric 37 B6. D8 StringMaster, etc. so I don't mind investing in a decent purchase.
I am a non pedal player but may also take that up as I have more time.
Any thoughts are much appreciated. BTW, the serious playing I did was though a Fender
1972 212 reverb and I sold it in the 80s.. Will anything else be a disappointment?
Thanks.

I would think about a Master Volume Twin if I were a lap player, since sometimes a lap sounds great with breakup and sometimes you want it clean. Or a regular Twin and an Earth Drive. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)

Thanks Lane. I will definitely look into those.
Some of these terms like Earth Drive are a new language to me but I will check it out. |

I don't own an Earth Drive, I use either a Sparkle Drive or Boss Tone. But lap steels through tubes sound better than lap steels through Peavey. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
