Cool little round front guitar. LIGHT and FULL of tone. 3x3. I had the copedent changed to a Mooney type setup. This guitar stays in tune extremely well. I believe the pickups are BL 710's. The 3 pedals and 1 knee are rack and barrel the two additional knees are barrels behind two hole pullers. The guitar also comes with 4 rods and 6 barrels not currently being used. $1000 plus shipping
Only selling to fund a trip further back in time to a Fender.

What kind of fender are you looking for? I have a super clean sunburst 400 with 4 pedals. Might be interested in a trade... _________________ Mostly Pre-1970 guitars. |

Hey Jason,
I see you are already selling the Sho-Bud you purchased from me. It seems like it has only been a short time since you bought it.
But hey, if you want to really chase that West Coast Mooney sound, I guess a Fender is really in your future. I have been playing a few D-8 Stringmasters lately, and getting lots of compliments on their tone! Good luck on your sale and Happy Trails!

I have a fender 400 like Moon's that has 4 pedals and a knee paddle. It is set up where I can play the Bakersfield sound on the E setup.
I would trade you , axe for axe and we pay our own shipping.

Hi Mike! That's the idea, I blame these darn Wynn Stewart records!
Thanks Jack, but I have my eyes set on a 2000... or a 800 with 6 pedals... _________________ Ralph. Mooney. |

Someone asked a good question and I thought I would mention it here. I do have extra rods and barrels, four sets I believe. _________________ Ralph. Mooney. |

Hi Timothy,
The Sho-Bud stays in tune and is in fine playing shape. The case is worn but functional, the pick up is a aftermarket humbucker by Bill Lawrence. I can put on the standard changes your going to want if your taking instruction from books or a formal teacher instead of a Bakersfieldaholic.
I hope you go forward with playing steel, no matter what guitar you choose, I fell head over heels the first time I hit those pedals. Nothing better. _________________ Ralph. Mooney. |
