Hey, check out my buddy Rich Zimmermann's photo blog--he's currently got up some great shots of Manassas playing in MKE in '73. Nice ZB!
Rich has TONS of great rock show shots as well as racing pics. ( If you dig it why not help him out-buy something!)

Those are great shots. I've been enjoying Al Perkins lately, especially the first Manassas album and some later Burritos. |

Great pictures, thank you. Looks like they had another bass player than Fuzzy Samuels by then. _________________ Fender Kingman, Sierra Crown D-10, Evans Amplifier, Soup Cube. |

The first Manassas album is still a favorite of mine. There is a cool DVD out of the band somewhere in a European TV studio performing that album as well. |

It's a recording from 1972, taped at German tv show "Musikladen". Running time: 40 minutes.
It contains:
Bound to fall
It doesn't matter
Hide it so deep
Song of love
Rock 'n' Roll crazies
Cuban bluegrass
Jet set
Jam
The treasure
I have the video cassette. |

That is the one. What an incredible band and Al really shines. Must have been a little akward for the band as there is no audience. |
