Saw him 40+ years ago at the Bitter End in Greenwich Village. I think he was opening for Neil Diamond. Quite a night. A great talent, Jake Holmes has had a very successful song writing career, also very successful in the jingle biz.

My confusion is not with the vocal but rather the background music...an old Peggy Lee song comes to mind...IS THAT ALL THERE IS ??

Regrets Paul

Paul you could listen to "A Suitcase Room". Maybe there's a little more background music to draw your attention. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cDxO6X1uSsk
It seems some members of Area Code 615 played on it.
Btw that Peggy Lee song is great.
Peter thanks for the comment.
