Quite a few of you forumites here on the SGF have discussed JERRY BYRD and his hundreds of studio recordings with artists from all walks of life in addition to his own albums and singles.

Until a few years ago, I had not heard Jerry's playing in other than recorded sessions with the one exception being Scotty's 1978 Steel Guitar Convention. I'll never forget it. It was rather amazing to me. The crowd throughout the two day show had remained intent and listened to each and every artist that appeared on the BIG stage.

When JERRY BYRD took center state, a great throng of folks rushed down and sat on the floor directly in front of the MASTER of TOUCH & Tone. It couldn't have comfortable but stay they did.

Jerry, as always, put on a great demonstration of exactly what made him the fabulous musician that he was.

If you'll go to the jerrybyrd-fanclub.com/ site, you can hear Jerry during one of his many, many live performances directly from Honolulu, Hawaii. This is not a studio performance but rather an outdoor stage at the House Without a Key. There are a couple of interruptions in the music but hang in there until the end. You won't regret it.

I am happy you added my House Without A Key Jerry Byrd recordings to your site. Enjoy Scotty's laugh and the birds too. It's the pre video era so you'll just have to imagine lovely Kanoe Miller hula dancing. A great site. Thank you Ray! ( http://www.jerrybyrd-fanclub.com) :0)

I received that CD years ago from someone but can't recall who.

I had no idea it was one of your items.

I hope I didn't trespass?

Ray those are the cds, I made from my tapes, that I sent you two years ago.
I'm pleased they are on your site. They should be on there and thank you for taking the time to do that.
