I just saw an old black and white clip, " june carter-grand ole opry ", Singing " He don't love me anymore ", on youtube.
Who is the pedal steel player, and what brand PSG is that?
He had the volume pedal on the outside of the PSG legs. Maybe because it was as big as a toaster, or maybe because he had long legs. The pedal was chrome or aluminum, and very cool looking.

Without a doubt, that steel player is Johnny Sibert.
Using his signature tremolo, on a double neck pedaled BIGSBY steel guitar, wearing his tie on his left shoulder and with the same facial features as in a photo of his Obit.

As Kramer has already correctly said, it is in fact Sonny Burnette.
Also, Sibert used Fender steels in this time-frame.
That Bigsby was owned by Webb Pierce at the time.
The 'tremolo' effect was fashionable at the time, as
were sidemen wearing scarves 'off-center'.
