Hi All

I am replacing my George L's 10-1 pickup for a lace Alumitone 10 string pick up on my Carter SD10. Can anyone tell me if the screw holes will line up so that I can simply install the Alumitone, without having to make new holes in the pickup?

Thanks

Nick

Nick,

I believe that at one time John Fabian had a plate to mount the alumitone that would prevent you from having to do any drilling.

You may want to check with Al Brisco and see if he has the plates or if he can give you the specs on them.

Hope this helps.

I screwed mine direct to the body as it needed a little more space from the strings.
You will need to drill pilot holes in the maple or screws will twist and break.
