Does anyone know where I can get ahold of some of the textured durable tweed covering for guitar cases? There is also the cheap stuff but that material tends to ding up. I am having some cases built and need to locate this covering. Thanks in advance. |

Kevin, there's a guy here in St. Louis who happens to be the bigwig in vintage amp restoration. Greg Hopkins at http://vintage-amp.com/
is the man you need to speak with. He's got miles of that stuff. He's the one who covers the Victoria brand of botique amps as well as many restoration jobs for vintage amp dealers and owners. He regrilled my old Deluxe with NOS cloth and did a perfect job. He re-tweeds cases and amps all day long.
Good Luck,
Brad |

Kevin,
Mr. Wade Thomas that makes cases for just about all the Steel Co.'s does a Super job in that Department. His shop is right next door to the Emmons' Co. in Burlington, NC, but you might have to call Ron Lashley Jr. at the Emmons Factory to get his #. My case was custom made by Wade in tweed with a plaque mounted on it with who built my steel and who made the case. My case has a serial # of 002 on it. Ron Lashley Jr. has # 001. Tough made case to say the least. |
