I'm wondering how people play a +7 on C6 tuning. The best voicing I've found is with my non-standard pedal 4 (the reverse 6 pedal) raising E to F and adding the 8 pedal, giving a A+7 at open position.
I two foot all the time, but wondering are the easier ways to grab this chord, any cool slant/pedal combinations people do? Even something like (3, #5, b7) leaving out the root would be handy.
My setup is the standard pedals 5-8 and C to B lower. A 'reverse 6' pedal instead of pedal 4, and knees that raise and lower string 4 a half step. |

I use a forward slant/non-pedal:
from e.g. (high to low):
G - E - B (straight 7th fret) to
G# - E - Bb (1 fret forward slant)
If you're picky about tuning a behind the bar pull can correct that. |

On a standard C6, A7+5 is probably easiest at fret 1:
string 2 E#
string 3 C#
string 5 G (lowered a half step by P5, or bar slant)
which resolves nicely to a D chord at fret 2.
The upper 2 voices just slide up to D and F#.
The lower voice can slide up to A on string 5, or for better voice leading, re-attack to F# on string 6.
Also easy is D7+5 on open strings if you have a lever raising A to A#. |
