Jay,
This is a local built guitar, and was built in Northwestern Ohio around the late 60's to early 70's. I was called at one time by them to look at one. We drove up, I played it, but it really didn't do much for me with Sho_Buds being more avaialble at the time.
I don't remember a whole lot about them, but that's definatly what it is.

I wonder how the pulls (pushes?) are tuned. I don't see anything on the end plate.
Take a close look at the picture on the front of the owner's manual. It looks like the pedal rods fan out as they go down to the pedals.

Looks like he stole the legs off of somebody's walker.
And I'd like to see how the steel is mounted to the legs. Very unconventional.

Even at worst, if you could get it for $350-400, you could spend a few bucks more and have a nice 12-string lap steel AND a card table. Vaat a deeeeel!
