Should be OK. Any light oil should work. NO WD-40. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . Playing for 54 years and still counting. |

The drawback with using oil is that although it does the job, it also hangs around and collects dirt. Something like Tri-flow has a volatile base and just leaves a dry deposit of PTFE. _________________ Make sleeping dogs tell the truth!

I've used TriFlow for many years...wouldn't use anything else on my steels. _________________ Best regards,

Thanks for that page Greg... I've sent a good number of friends there to learn the what and where of lubricating a steel! Your site is a great resource. |
