~ ~ ~ 1974 Sho-Bud Professional D-10 with 8/4 ~ ~ ~


Guitar purchased 1975 from Maurice Anderson when visiting the MSA factory. Guitar has seen lite use through the years and now has been totally rebuilt.

    * Aluminum professionally buffed by “Bud’s Polishing” in Nashville.

    * Original coil tap pickups rewound by Jerry Wallace to 13K/17.5K

    * Rack and barrel with ABC pedals updated to hex cross-shafts with upgrade shop made pull cranks.

    * 4837 - Serial number indicates Jan. 1974 manufacture date


Standard Emmons E9th pedals with E’s lower/raise on left. RKR lowers 2/9 and RKL raises 1/7 half step.
C6th is standard tuning and pedals with D on top. RKL lowers 3rd string half step.
Has some finish checking the the typical crack behind the E9th bridge.

There is no inherent coding in the serial numbers. Manufacture dates are taken from the listing provided by Gene Haugh here:
