This guitar was built for Gary Hogue in I believe 1988(according to Jim Lindsey) I bought this from Mickey Adams a few months back after a total restoration by the Mullen Co. The changer was drilled and tapped for splits on all strings, four (yes 4) new Lawrence 705's, all polished knee levers, polished and jeweled pedal bar, etc. It is virtually a new Mullen Pre Rp as the pics will show. Guitar sounds and plays great and the only reason I am getting rid of it is my inability to get rid of my '74 push/pull. I have over $3500 in this one but will let it go for $3000 + s & h Sorry no trades.

Comes with 2 sturdy but not pretty cases Thanks, Billy

Wally you are right, a very nice guitar. Having been refurbished at the Mullen factory and upgraded with the tunable splits on all strings, plus the tonal options with the double pickups, it is amazing.
A new RP comparably equipped would be $6000, and a G2 over $7000. This is a ton of guitar for the money.

I'm surprised this one hasn't sold at 3500..I rebuilt another exactly like this one for my friend Doug bone. His had original 705/805s too..
Mine of course, was Jim Lindsey's copy of Gary Houges guitar, and Jim now has Grys original... There were very few of these quads made...
Mine is just fabulous, and so is this one...

[b]Super looking steel . I am wondering how the two pickups effect the tone . Tell me how that works if you will . This is a wonderful looking steel for sure . Eye candy if i ever saw it . It will make someone a great steel .

Need to move this fine guitar. Someone make me a reasonable offer. Remember this is for all practical purposes a 2013 guitar with 1988 body and legs.

This looks like an awesome guitar!.. how do the dual pickups sound vs just one, and can you switch it to use just one at a time on either neck? Thanks.

Dustin, This guitar is set up with a bank of switches. You have the choice of either pickup or both on each neck as well as a tone control knob for each neck or both and a switch to have the tone control on or off. Virtually endless tone control variations on a tone monster to begin with.
Thanks for you interest,
Billy
