How does the Roland 80GX compare with the 80XL. JAMES TAYLOR Smile

James, I don't know much about the new GX models but I do know that the 80XL has an extension speaker jack in the back that the GX apparently doesn't have. Not everybody would care, but I think it's a nice feature to have.

It is my understanding that they have about the same control capabilities, except there is no looper, or extention speaker outlet on the GX. There is also a third sound that can be put in memory (solo) and called upon when needed on the GX.
