I just got a Roland 40GX Amplifier from Musicians Friend last week. Very nice compact amplifier. Ten inch speaker, the usual array of amp models plus a clean channel. Seperate reverb and delay controls and a tap tempo button on the delay. The reverb has two modes. Memory to save a channel preset once you get it to your liking, and a jack for plugging an Iphone in with the free Roland app on it, or audio in for background tracks. (Must be a late version of Iphone software to use the app...my old Iphone 3G won't work.) I could possibly upgrade the software on it but its not that big of a deal to me. The jack works with any audio device as a straight input though. It also has Record Out / Headphones jacks. A seperate multi mode footswitch is available to switch multiple settings in and out. The amp weighs a little over 20 pounds, has plenty of power and a very good range of sounds. The size is perfect to fit behind the driver's seat of my car. I paid $200 for mine used (demo or return I'm sure) from Musician's Friend after a little haggling. _________________ GFI SM10 3/4, 1937 Gibson EH-150, 2 - Rondo SX Lap Steels and a Guyatone 6 String C6. Yep, I have the Cube 80 XL, I'm very happy with this little powerhouse, and I paid a third of what I'd have to pay for a Nashville 112. The aux audio in works great with my little mini-disc player for practice backing tracks. Love this series. Way to go, Roland! _________________ Williams 700 series keyless U12,
