Ok for the time being I bought one. (Till I save enough gig money for a twin Anyway, lots of power not to bad in the modeling dept. I can't seem to get the brittle out of highs. Anyone use any line 6 amps that might have an idea? I figure if I keep complaining daily, my wife will let me get the twin sooner Thanks in advance _________________ MSA CLassic SD-10

I know nothing at all about Line 6 amps. I've used a Pod for a long time and know it pretty well but I have no idea if they share any architecture.
If you have a global parametric eq, you can try to shelve the highs. Also, if there's a presence control, dial that down some. Speaker cab sims? If yes, there are some speaker profiles that might be less bright.
Hope this helps but it might not. |

Hi Greg:
I know quite a bit about Line6 Pods and amps. Do you mean "Spider IV"? Line6 IV means nothing to me.
The twin model in the Line6 amps is usually pretty good and a fine place to start with steel.
