the 2nd annual steelin' the gospel steel guitar showcase will be saturday, june 14th, 2014 from 11am 'til 9pm at the Hackett's gospel singing shed, 3345, hwy 65 north, dermott, Arkansas 71638.
that is 4 miles south of mcgehee and 4 miles north of dermott Arkansas at the intersection of u.s.hwy 65 & ar hwy 165 right in the heart of the Arkansas delta.
last years inaugural showcase was well attended by the general public and 12 steel players
did an outstanding showcase performance that is still the subject of conversation today.
again a grand ole gospel concert will follow the showcase, featuring the Hackett's family gospel band and all the stars of the steelin' the gospel steel guitar showcase at 7pm on Saturday night.
the friday nite early bird steelin' the gospel tune-up jam & meet n' greet will be back by popular demand from 6:30pm - 10pm, Friday night june 13th and is open to all levels of steel players.

your right, as usual, but somehow this happened un-beknownst to me, 'til it was too late and I'm not a hi-tech enuff redkneck to pull it back....so, ...'til maybe bob see's it and see's fit to feel my pain and bump-it over where it should be i'll just live with it.
but, ...in the mean time, you are locked in and early enough to choose your slot. just say when and you got it.(folks terry, did a fantastic showcase)

we're back in the right rack now....
motels and campgrounds will be listed soon that offer discounts for steelin' the gospel attendee's.
the area chamber of commerce was so delighted in the response they received from last years event and welcome our return as a great show of talent and a thing to do that includes everyone.

| I had a great time last year playing this show. My wife and I made new friends and got reacquainted with some more. I love being around steel players and look forward to coming back. |
