Has anyone ever had trouble with reverb leads staying tight on the pins off the chassis on Peavey Nashville 400's ?? If so what was the solution. Thanks a bunch, J.C. Norris, N.C.

I always just use a small screwdriver that will fit into the holes in the Molex connector and work it to where it tightens the female part. Usually works for me. A really small set of pliers might do it, but I don't know that I have ever seen pliers that small. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . JC just turn off the reverb unit and use an effects unit, the verb will sound better and no headaches with connections etc.

Actually, I do what Larry suggests. I use a Digitech RP155 in the front effects loop for reverb and nothing else. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) . Pull the reverb plug, and take an ice pick, or any needle pointed tool, and bend the female ends so that they fit tight with the plug installed. At least that's what she said. |

Thanks a bunch guys. My tech has tried tightning the Molex connecter a couple of times & it would help for a while. I'm going to take your advise and go with an electronic reverb in the front loop. Thanks again, Happy New Year. J.C. Norris |

You could bypass the dodgy Molex by soldering wires straight to the male pins on the Molex. Obviously that'd make removal of the chassis slightly more complex, as you'd have to pull the RCA plugs from the tank and pull them through.
But unless you have already swapped out the tank for a 3 spring long delay tank, a box will have a better reverb. _________________ 2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
