Does anyone have tab for speed "pockets" to help in playing up tempo rides?

Hello Roger, I've been watching this post with much interest, hoping you would get many replies. The way some players zip around on the E9th neck, you would think there are many pocket and logical organization to their playing, making levels of speed easier to attain. I'll keep watching...

Roger, check out Alex Cattaneos's legend tab series. Alex offers brilliant transcriptions including some Ricky Skaggs uptempo tunes with lots of Bruce Bouton speed solos and licks. They are 5 $ per tab, I highly recommend them!

You can learn a lot about fast lick positions from the Tab of "Drivin Nails In My Coffin" that I posted a few years ago.

Here's some great speed picking tabs posted by Alex Cattaneo and Fred Amendola some time ago.

I have another suggestion but this one is a little hard to get.
Wabash Cannonball from Dewitt Scott's Backup steel guitar. It is in an out of print Mel Bay book.

This is a fast tune with intro, lead, backup and ending. The licks are all high speed classics that anyone can use in a lot of songs.

IMO, this is one of the best steel guitar books ever made. I am surprised it is not all that popular. I have heard that the book can be bought directly from Dewitt Scott. Wabash is the only up tempo tune in the book. All of the licks in this book are good and highly useable.

Here is what I think is a great series of phrases I IV I V--from a solo I heard in the 1990's, though I can't remember anything about the song or who the steel guitarist is
