Very nice, lightweight guitar built by Bobby Bowman. Emmons key head, neck, single-coil pickup and PP changer base, LeGrande pedals, Carter knee levers, MSA cross-shafts and bellcranks, and changer fingers, hard-rock maple body w/ red Formica, Emmons setup. A great playing and sounding guitar at a great price! Posting for Bobby, so contact him directly thru the Forum. $1095 plus shipping. Thanks!

Thanks for all the help Craig.
This little guitar I guess could be called a true hybred.
It's a combination of Emmons, Carter and MSA parts that I've accumulated of a period of time.
It all came together as though they were meant for each other. Plays really good and very positive. As close to an Emmons PP sound as you can get without it being a true Push Pull.
$1095 plus shipping costs from 77433.
Contact me at 281-856-9453 or at bobbybow@swbell.net
and I'll tell ya all that I know about it.

If Bobby built it, it will be a great guitar for someone. In fact, a jewel from his talented hands. _________________ Charles Tilley ,

Steve,
I'll get that info to you later today I hope. My scales are broke and I'll see if one of my neighbors will let me borrow theirs.
I do know that the case is not a light weight case. That son of a gun is well built.

I need to correct one little thing here.
Even though it is not a very heavy single neck guitar. It is not a light weight guitar as some of the single neck guitars offered these days. It is a full bodied 3/4" hard rock maple body covered with red mica. The end plates also are not shy on mass,,,they are not flemsey end plates.
Thanks,

Posted 16 Mar 2014 11:56 pm Traded my guitar for this but Bobby is now MIA - help
|
|
Hi everyone -
I acquired this guitar in a three-way trade where sent my guitar to someone in Massachusetts who Bobby had received payment from while Bobby sent me this guitar. It arrived damaged (one knee lever fell off after 5 minutes of playing, the F lever traveled past its stop unless pushed completely straight to the left, some thick screwheads interfered with travel of other parts, etc.) I dropped the guitar off with Bobby for repair when I was on tour through Houston on Feb. 9th and have not heard from him since -- multiple phone calls and emails are unreturned.
I doubt there's any foul play as Bobby's reputation is excellent -- he had mentioned some recent health issues so I hope it's not that either. I'm just hoping that maybe there's been an email or phone issue and maybe Bobby will check the forum and let me know what's up with this guitar and if I can expect it or the ETS I traded for it back, or if anyone knows the latest news from Bobby they could chime in. Thanks. |

Hello,
FYI, Bobby has been laid up in the hospital in Houston for the past few weeks.
He had a heart attack.
I am SURE that Bobby will get back to you as do on as possible.
My best to you,
